The year was 1999. 271 FIRST® Robotics Competition teams were in the midst of the “Double Trouble” game and learning how to navigate that year’s game piece (the legendary “floppy”) and the new concept of an “alliance”.
Team 67, The HOT Team from Highland, Michigan, put together a time capsule of their team’s experience that year.
We brought the time capsule to this year’s FIRST® Championship to open it with the current members of Team 67 and see what it contained! The team gave us another time capsule to open in 25 more years, so check out this blog in May 2049 to see what it includes!
