In my role as Director of Alumni Relations, I get to work with folks like Frank and the FIRST Robotics Competition team to help make sure that FIRST is about more than just your time on a team. That FIRST isn’t just something you do – it’s something you are. That’s why we have opportunities like the FIRST Scholarship Program and career webinars to help you benefit from your FIRST experience long after high school.
I know this school-year just started, but it’s already time to start thinking about next year. Whether you’ll have time left in high school or will have graduated, check out the resources below to help you make the most of your FIRST experience.

- Thinking about college next? Check out the FIRST Scholarship Program, whether you’re graduating this year, or in 3 years, it’s never too early to start familiarizing yourself with how the Program works. FIRST partners with Colleges and Universities who make available exclusive scholarships to FIRST Participants.
- It CAN be too late though! If you’re in 11th or 12th grade (junior or senior), stop everything you’re doing and check out the FIRST Scholarship Program RIGHT NOW!
- This year’s program just launched and application deadlines start to come quickly. Details and applications are all available at www.firstinspires.org/scholarships
