FIRST® Robotics Competition had three terrific interns this summer, all FIRST® alums!
- Hunter joined our Kit of Parts team and worked on updating the Spare Parts cases, inventory, and process that support official FIRST Robotics Competition events. He also helped update some of our “test” robots to have drivetrains more similar to what many teams are currently using.
- Emily joined our Mechanical Engineering team and lead the construction of three test robots (including 2 with swerve drive). She also designed and prototyped parts of three field elements for CRESCENDOSM presented by Haas
- Peter worked with our Electrical Engineering team on adding features to the robot simulator used by field volunteers at events and on documentation.
All three attended our Supplier Summit dinner, helping us thank the companies that donate in-kind material to FIRST each season.
